Good evening everyone 🙂 Today we have prepared for you a number of rather interesting announcements, some of them being quite unexpected. Specifically in this post, we will elaborate on the partnership with Cointelegraph, which was concluded today, November 5.
So, let us remind you that the proposal for partnership with Cointelegraph was posted on the Free TON forum only 9 days ago. As we wrote earlier, from the very moment of its publication, it caused rather ambiguous responses from the community due to controversial points in the proposed terms of partnership. Of course, the biggest part of the discussions was caused by the amount of money requested by a potential partner – 7 million TON Crystal tokens, which might indicate that Cointelegraph itself estimates the value of the project quite low. Another problem was the lack of specifics regarding the stages of the partnership – where these materials will be located, who will be engaged in their development, who will pay for it and so on. Finally, some users noticed that the very concept of advertising proposed by Cointelegraph does not fit into the Free TON format – the project does not need to be advertised, but it should gradually acquaint the audience with its features and thus attract really interested users.
The most probable case-scenario for us was that the terms of the offer would be revised by Cointelegraph itself in order to make it more suitable for the community and increase its chances of acceptance. However, all of this was not needed, and today the high profile partnership proposal was accepted by a soft majority voting. This means that very soon we will be able to see the implementation of the first stage of the partnership, which is designed for 12 months. We are looking forward to it!
