Tell us a little bit about yourself. What did you do before Free TON? What are your competencies, skills and education?

I have a lot of experience in different areas: marketing, sales, logistics, analysis, product management. By education I am international economist.

Why are you in Free TON? Why in this particular SG?

• Among all the projects which appeared in 2017-2018, more or less, I believed only in Durov’s project, since he and his team had already proven in practice that they were able to implement very complex technical tasks. I gladly agreed, when Sergey Shashev invited me to join a project that was making an ecosystem for projects on TON. When TON was not able to launch, Free TON seemed to us the wealthiest among other TON forks, and therefore we are here.
• DeFi attracts me with its complexity and extraordinary solutions. As an economist and analyst, I am very interested in this. I am glad to have the opportunity to participate in the developing of advanced solutions in this segment. This is good motivation.

What do you personally do in this SG?

My role is to be a facilitator for other participants and members of the jury, to allow them to do their work and not waste time on unnecessary bureaucracy. I teach and mentor people how to correctly post proposals on the forum, vote and what are the best practices for evaluating work. In addition, I regularly sync with other SGs to extend our good practices with them, and we learn their practices from them.

I have a lot of amazingly talented people in my team who can “launch satellites into orbit”. My task is to give them the opportunity to use their skills to create something cool and useful, to prove themselves. As an example: we were the first to create atomic swap mechanisms on Free TON and implemented an experimental bridge to Ethereum.

Who had the idea to create this SG?

The idea of creation was born in discussion with validators and specialists of this segment, when we realized that this segment could potentially help Free TON to take its rightful place on the Olympus of DeFi ecosystems.

What is the key problem is solved in your SG

It’s simple – you need to provide basic DeFi building blocks for existing projects as soon as possible and help them emigrate to Free TON. That is why speed and quality of decisions are so important.

What kind of specialists do you need for this? 

We need more people who are specialist in the work with Free TON, ready to help with the design of contests, train rookies, form a knowledge base and responsibly evaluate the work of participants.
